shell. The concentric circles were mirrored in the stage platforming
and in the 45 record album on the drop. Gold musical notes decorated
the false proscenium, which blossomed with chasing marquee lights during
the show-stopping tune, Shangri-La. This was a fun, musically-centered,
presentational platform for the return of the quartet that never had
their chance while on Earth.
| ![]() spacer | Funny Comedy ‘Forever Plaid’ Hits High Notes “MOST ENJOYABLE SCENE- Fake banana lights and tacky red and green trailer lights were just the beginning of fun with “Mathilda.” Using stereotypical south-of-the-border dance steps and vocalizations, the musicians got the audience into the spirit of the music. Soon the audience was singing the chorus with vigor; a few were trying out the maracas; and the kids were modeling sombreros. The performers are aided by a fine design team.
